Disguised Exits Valorant Challengers League SEA Amid New Streaming Regulations, Opening Doors for Free Agents
The recent developments in the esports scene have led to notable changes for some teams. In an unexpected move, Disguised, the esports organization associated with a well-known influencer, has chosen to withdraw from the Valorant Challengers League SEA. This decision comes in light of new streaming regulations implemented by Riot Games, which now restrict broadcasting to a single platform, SOOP. The organization's inability to stream their own matches has rendered participation in the tournament unfeasible.
The announcement shared through a social media platform indicated that the new exclusive partnership with SOOP precludes any co-streaming on alternate channels. As a result, this situation prevents the team from showcasing their games for the next ten months, which is the duration until they might secure a place in the Ascension competition.
This withdrawal also grants the players from Disguised the freedom to seek opportunities with other teams. The organization expressed support for its players, affirming their belief in their potential. They showed optimism for their future in the competitive arena, urging the athletes to find new environments where they can thrive.
The newly available free agents from the former Disguised roster now include:
- Player 1
- Player 2
- Player 3
- Player 4
- Player 5
