A whole new story-driven feature is coming to The Sims 4 on November 30. The development team, EA, promises significantly deeper gameplay that involves individual stories for all the new NPCs. Let’s take a look at the details of the announcement to see if it’s worth downloading.
How It Will Work
As the announcement says, the new Story Progression feature will upgrade all NPC households. With the update, you will reveal a bunch of new suggestions to characters, but, what is more exciting, is that these characters will learn how to change their lives autonomously. Now you will get a lot of suggestions to have fun, visit a friend together, to have a baby, or even to divorce! The list of new social choices will have long-term consequences and change the way you interact with Neighbors.
New Aspirations
Here are the two new big aspirations that will be available through the update:
- Neighborhood Confidante – this new aspiration will help your sim to become a positive force in the Neighborhood and influence various changes easier using the new traits.
- Villainous Valentine – this realistic aspiration will make your sim a trouble-seeker when it comes to romantic relationships. The aspiration comes with a Twisted Heart trait that literally turns your sim into a drama queen … or king!
Coming Soon
Although the release date for the update is November 30, the developers will release it in chunks to fine-tune new options one by one. The early version of Story Progression will be available for NPCs your sim has relationships with. Download the update and see how it goes!
