We are still exploring the latest update and getting to know the new characters better, while miHoYo prepares a new event for all the Genshin Impact players. This time it starts in Mondstadt and then takes you all over the map.
The event starts on May 14. Since that day, players will be able to approach Gygax in Mondstadt and talk to him in order to get invited. Windtrace gives you a chance to win more Primogems, Character XP materials, as well as specific items like a namecard and Windtrace Coins. It will require some unusual approach: for example, players cannot play mini games with custom partners or opponents, the matching is random only. So prepare your language skills and be ready to play with someone you don’t know; isn’t that what online games are for?
In addition, not everyone will be allowed. To fully participate, one must have achieved Rank 20 and collected all the Statues of the Seven. Formally, even one Statue is enough, but then you will be limited to the areas where you have them collected, other games only unlocking when you get the statue. To view your current status, preview the Contested Zone. You have until May 24 to complete the statues search and participate in the Windtrace Event.
